 Objective: Train and equip more members of local churches to serve their communities as “Philips”, and walk alongside them and the hundreds of Philips already trained, as they lead small evangelistic discipleship home groups with their neighbors. Description: Project Philip is one of our major focuses. A small-group, home Bible study for seekers and new believers, this program is named after the story of Philip and the Ethiopian eunuch in Acts 8:26-39, and consists of local believers being trained and equipped to be “Philips”… to invite a small group of their neighbors to their homes to take part in a six-month study of Bible basics. This program has been in high demand, with about 600 Philips trained so far, and many trained Philips have already led the course multiple times, leading many of their neighbors to Christ in the process. |
